The National Committee safeguards the interests of the Danish dairy industry in the Federation, eg by appointing members for its general assembly, standing committees, etc.

By way of international co-operation the IDF works to solve scientific, technological, economic and nutrition-related issues within the interest sphere of the international dairy industry.

Chairman of the Danish National Committee is Michael Stevns, managing director, Danish Dairy Board.
